A contract manufacturing specialist with turnover in excess of £10m and over 250 employees found itself in severe financial difficulties brought on through contract delays in the rail industry.

An Independent Business Review was undertaken included the preparation of detailed financial forecasts that enabled the company's funders to continue providing financial support. Regular monitoring of the company's performance was also undertaken as a condition of continued financial support.

As part of the turnaround strategy the sale of a loss making division was negotiated to its principal customer and the business was able to consolidate, refocus on its core clients and go from strength to strength.
